A concrete forest my world is now..

no trees find place in my beautiful town

no garbage shall be seen anywhere so

we intellects have dumped it in rivers and seas.

Our inventions small and big,

like plastics and nuclear bombs,

I hope everybody knows,

how it has helped human form.

The nature owes to us a lot I must say

coz we have made wildlife reserves and national parks in large scale.

We are intellects...scientists....artists...,

we are the greatest species of all

coz we can destroy the original

and create a replica of all.

We are really helping the needy

like the Pandas and the Lions

and the other endangered species

by preserving them in National parks

We can really help the poor

like the Elephants and the Donkeys

by engaging them full time in our own part time Jobs.

We are also sympathetic towards our own species

specially towards the old aged people

and we have built beautiful houses for them

popularly known as "old age home"

and that's the greatest achievement of all.

                                                                                             

                                                 BETWEEN ME AND YOU

While walking, while chatting, while eating, while reading

one question was common in my mind and I was wondering

who are you? 

why I care for you? 

what makes you so special?

I found no reason though I asked myself hundred times the same question.

It so happened one day I went to market,

To buy new apparel, earrings and sandals

there I found in the crowd one small baby was crying

to calm down that baby all the family members were trying

grandma was singing song,grandpa was making faces,

no matter how hard they tried but their effort was wasted.

I also turned back and started my shopping

but still I could hear her voice crying and shouting

suddenly don't know what happened in a matter of second 

there was peace all around as if nothing has happened.

I felt curious to know what happened and peeped into the crowd 

one lady I saw who has just entered the crowd

she was her mom and the baby was in her hands

the baby was smiling and playing and was glowing like a flower

as if she has never cried before 

as if she will never cry again..

I wondered what that tiny creature found in that lady

does she really knew the bond between mother and baby

then why she felt happy and what made her to cry..

may be some magic the lady did to calm down the child

It was a secret and its a secret for me even now

I think such invisible bonding is also there between me and you

coz your presence makes me happy and your absence leaves me sad

but I am not so intelligent to break this invisible secret

So I ask you my friend...Do you know the reason?
